Please note that the Resolution of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 16, 2015 №1173 (published in the "Uryadovy Kuryer" ("Governmental Courier") of January 19, 2016 №10) amends the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 30, 2011 №615 "On Approval of the Procedure for Granting Special Permits for Subsoil Use".

On January 19 the first session of the International Technical Assistance Project Management Committee on "Aiding Ukraine in Approximating the EU Regulation in the Environment Field" was held headed by Hanna Vronska, the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine in European Integration.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources delegation headed by the Acting Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Serhii Kurykin visited the Republic of Latvia on December 17-20, 2015 in order to increase the level of cooperation and experience exchange between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of the Republic of Latvia.

Kyiv, December 15, 2015 - A new global climate agreement has been adopted in Paris on December 12. The decision was supported by 192 countries. The agreement is planned to be signed on April 22, 2016. It will be followed by the process of ratification in the parliaments of the signatory countries. The responsibility for shaping and implementation of the national environmental policy lies with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and its objective is to ensure the integration and inclusion of this policy into all areas of society and sectors of economy. This was noted today during a public report of the Government by Acting Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Serhii Kurykin.

On November 24, the delegation of Ukrainian Deputy Ministers on European integration headed by the Director of the State Office on European Integration, Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Natalia Hnydiuk arrived to Riga with the aim to share Latvia`s experience in state management reform and economic development accumulated by Latvia within the years of membership in EU.
